Duresta after

Here is a before and after example of a Duresta Trafalgar sofa that we have reupholstered for a customer in Northwitch. Our brief was to find a glamorous, but hardwearing combination fabrics that would give comfort and coordinate across the scatter cushions.

The work began with the time consuming job of fully the striping down all the old fabric, Once this has been done, to make sure all was well we then gave the sofa a full inspection of the frame and all its internal components.

Before we commenced the rebuild we replaced the foam on the arms and the body. Now we were ready to start cutting the templates of the fabric. Then we started fixing the fabric to the body of the sofa, pulling everything tight and snug. Next we set to cutting and sewing all the cushion cases. The last stage was to fill the seat cushions both seat and back.

On this particular sofa the seat cushions had a fibre cushion which our customer wanted replacing and we also added a couple more scatter cushions to help balance to look.
